MZUNGU PRICE

As part of research for “The Wong Street Journal” in 2013, I volunteered with Volunteer Action Network in Gulu, Uganda. While I was there I made a 5 song rap album produced by local music producer Nerio Badman. I met them on the street my second night there. I shared the profits from my show “The Wong Street Journal” with Nerio to build his studio, Empire Records Uganda. I also returned to Uganda five years later to create three music videos. The songs and videos play on the radio and on TVs in Northern Uganda. All five songs can be purchased and heard here.
