What happens when life no longer imitates art, it takes over the creative flow and forces its way into the narrative? As artists, we have learned that creativity is often the element of life that keeps us sane, engaged, informed, and educated. This year's fair focuses on the power of theatre to transform as well as understand the times in which we are living, not only for the betterment of society but also the survival of the art form.
Join us for conversations about ways the theatre is evolving both on and off the stage, workshops to guide the next generation of theatre practitioners in their professional development, plus in-person and virtual networking opportunities. Also sign up for a free, professional headshot (Subject to availability. Priority will be given to current college students). If you'd like more focused attention, meet one-on-one with a speed mentor who will share their career trajectory and offer advice in their field.
Designed for current college and graduate students, early-career individuals, and college, university and trade tech educators, the Fair is free to attend, but registration is required. Speed Mentoring sessions will fill up quickly, so make sure to register in advance; speed mentorship requests will close on April 7th.
Please register for the Fair by April 13th to receive further information about how to participate and the complete schedule for the day. If you have any questions, please email us at education@ctgla.org. We look forward to seeing you at the Fair!
