You're invited to a special public screening of "From Number to Name: Back to Life," a 65 minute play featuring original material and performances by members of API RISE, a group of formerly incarcerated and/or detained Asian Pacific Islander community members in Southern California.
*On Friday, 8/19, we'll be projecting on the big screen a performance that most audience members will have originally seen via computer or phone (as a live-streamed performance produced by theater company East West Players on August 5-7).
*As an added bonus on 8/19, members of the cast/API RISE will be among the attendees, enabling us to have a post-screening in-person talk-back not made possible during the livestreamed edition of "From Number to Name."
*Plus, since we're in Historic Filipinotown, we'll have Filipino snacks to munch on as well!
