Interactive virtual networking, panel discussion, live poetry and participatory somatic experience on Remo for emerging arts leaders!

About this event

NOTE: The main event is Fri, Jul 8 @ 12-2pm PT (the open dress is Fri, Jul 1 @ 12-1pm PT)

We're "Zoomed out" but still need to connect virtually, so we're doing it on Remo (https://remo.co) - a fun, interactive platform that allows you to network with leading artists and arts administrators moving around virtual tables!

HOT JUSTICE includes a panel conversation moderated by Rosa Lisbeth Navarrete (she/her - Casa0101) featuring:

* Aubrey Bergauer (she/her) - Changing the Narrative

* David Holland (he/him) - Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF)

* Kristina Wong (she/her) - Auntie Sewing Squad

* Sydney Rogers aka Miss Barbie-Q (they/she) - Multi-Disciplined Drag Artist /Cultural Curator/Activist/Advocate/Cultural Competency Consultant

discussing how the intersection of performing arts and digital media can provide revenue-generating opportunities for emerging artmakers who have historically been (and are currently being) excluded from establishment institutional funding.

Featuring live poetry with Brian Sonia-Wallace (he/they), an artistic viewing from Estrellx Supernova (they/them), a participatory somatic experience guided by Jessica Moneà Evans (she/her) and hosted by David Mack (he/him)...

Instead of a conference fee - if you're an Artist Magnet member and you RSVP by Juneteenth (Sun, Jun 19) - you get $50 for attending! (If you're not yet an Artist Magnet member, instructions on how to become one for free are below and in the ticketing section)

HOT JUSTICE is limited to 25 people, so RSVP only if you're certain you can attend so we can make space for those in need - thank you for your assistance!
